The State and Main project grew out of a new vision: to develop a family friendly, neighborhood gastropub concept for a very successful Calgary-based franchise group. Departing from the well-known look and feel of their previous spaces, we were asked to establish an atmosphere that was both upscale and casual; we sourced a diverse mix of global design elements and custom millwork, iron, and tile to create a unique space, first in Spruce Grove, AB, then across Alberta, and now nationwide.
