"Vintage antiques from all over the city were sourced for this space, including a 1950's hair salon lounger from Jasper Place."
To create The Parlour we embarked on an ambitious space transformation with our longest-standing client; determined to develop an Italian eatery unlike any other in the city, this seasoned restaurateurs was highly involved in the design process. Together we rebuilt a 5,000 sq ft hair salon into a two-storey restaurant and bar from the ground up, including new glazing, mezzanines, courtyard, and stairwells. With tailor-made chairs and wall coverings, vintage photography, and a tiled, wood-fired pizza oven, this space is the perfect balance of Canadian west-coast casual and contemporary Tuscan design.
