Canada's very first custom 15,862 square foot, $2.5 million, two-story medical Cancer Care Centre pioneered a more strategic approach to cancer care treatment and management. Situated in Southeast Edmonton, this brand new care facility is just 4km away from the current Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, Alberta. 

In working closely with Dr. Chowdhury and Dr. Debenham, the design vision for a brighter, warmer, and less institutional aesthetic was achieved. The 1,990 square foot, main floor provides an elegant, custom designed check-in reception area, local coffee shop and overflow seating area. The 13,872 square foot second floor offers 20 infusion suites closely overlooked by a nursing station, 30 exam rooms, 15 doctor offices and a grand bistro area for a staff and hospital functions. A key design feature is the on site pharmacy and consultation room which offers comfort and convenience to help ease cancer care patients.
