1st RND was born from our client’s vision to create Edmonton’s first all-ages, inclusive, sports-focused burger bar—welcoming to all genders and fans of every sport. With bright colors, soft finishes, and thoughtful design details, CKDESIGN collaborated closely with the branding agency from the earliest stages, even before the name was finalized. Located in Canada’s largest mall, the space needed to immediately capture attention and energize the thousands of patrons passing by each year. We achieved this with a bold, inviting façade and layered branded elements throughout the walls, glass, back bars, and secondary spaces.

The result is a cohesive, high-energy environment that exceeded expectations and resonated with guests. Its success led to the launch of additional locations in New Jersey and downtown Edmonton, reinforcing 1st RND’s appeal and proving the strength of a unified design and brand vision.
