We focus on commercial interior design for hospitality environments—including restaurants, cafes, hotels, and multi-unit franchise rollouts. Our portfolio includes over 2,000 built hospitality projects across North America.
Do you offer custom designs or work within brand standards?
Both. We develop unique design packages tailored to each concept, and we’re equally experienced in working within established brand standards to ensure consistency across locations.
What is your approach to great workplace design?
Many of our workplace clients—whether in office, medical, or dental settings ask us to create a space that feels more like a “home office” than a traditional “head office.” They’re looking for a workplace with warmth, personality, and comfort. By applying our award-winning hospitality design lens, we help them avoid the typical “grey office” and instead deliver environments that are inviting, functional, and aligned with their culture.
Can you assist during construction?
Yes, we offer construction administration services to help maintain design intent. This includes site visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and collaborating with your build team.
What regions do you serve?
CKDESIGN is based in Western Canada, but we work on projects across North America. We’re comfortable navigating varying building codes, permit processes, and regional requirements.
Do you design spaces outside of hospitality?
Yes. Beyond hospitality, we also design functional and branded workplaces and compelling retail environments. From flagship cannabis stores and boutique grocery shops to offices and co-working spaces, we apply the same thoughtful approach by blending creativity, strategy, and precision to ensure each space supports your brand and delivers an exceptional user experience.
